Lychee
Fruit
The Lychee tree is a tropical plant that is native to China. The tree is known for producing a small, fleshy, red fruit; while the outside of the fruit is roughly-textured and inedible, the inside is sweet and tender, making it popular in a variety of dessert dishes. Lychees are becoming more popular in Brazil, South America, and the United States. The light, floral taste pairs perfectly with lime, coconut, and other tropical flavors!
